Our History

Troop 998 was established in September of 1998, in Cincinnati, OH, by Pennie Roberts.  The Troop was so small it only had a Tenderhart Unit of 11 girls.  Meeting at Sherwood Elementary, the  troop quickly started to grow.  As the girls increased in age, so did our numbers. Our Tenderhart unit began meeting in the art room and the Explorer unit began meeting in the music room.  The troop became so big we outgrew Sherwood.  In 2003, we found a new home at Parkside Christian Church.  Then, in 2011, we moved to Immaculate Heart of Mary on Beechmont.  We continue to grow and now have a Pathfinder, a Tenderheart, an Explorer, a Pioneer, and a Patriot unit.
